Hey, friends! Welcome back to the blog. 🙂
Can you believe that February will be here next week already?! The older I get, the more I realize just how quickly time flies. Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it, so I thought I’d put together a quick gift guide for him, her and couples. I’m always looking for gift ideas and I love reading gift guides! In my opinion, the best part of this guide is that the gifts are budget-friendly at under $25, yet they’re still super thoughtful. I’ve linked everything too (click on the pink text to take you straight to the item). Let’s get started!
Have you seen The Office???? If you haven’t, then this gift probably won’t make much sense to you, but trust me it’s hilarious! Hah! This is by far me and my husband’s favorite TV show. Dwight is a rockstar and anyone who catches your significant other with this mug will think so too. It’s simple gifts like this that you can really personalize. Is your guy a Game of Thrones fanatic? Get him a mug with his favorite character! This mug is from Amazon for $12.95.
This Egoelife Canvas Satchel Messenger Bag has so many good reviews (over 600 reviews) on Amazon and it’s only $23.99. Not only could your guy take this to work, he could use this as a casual laptop bag and take this bad boy to a coffee shop and get some work done in style. The strap is detachable and adjustable, making it perfect for getting the right fit. I like that the canvas material makes it an easy clean, and the faux leather adds an element of cool – details matter! Lol This bag comes in a coffee brown color too.
This is a gift I gave my husband, and he was so moved that he teared up (shhh don’t let him know I told you). 😉 I saw this on Etsy and thought it was so unique! You can write a sweet, personalized note on one side and include a picture on the other. I chose a picture from our honeymoon in South Africa. He keeps this card in his wallet. It’s the most precious thing! The pricing on this gift ranges, but I found this Etsy shop with a starting price of just $14.99.
The last gift idea for men that I have is this really awesome personalized key chain. The picture above is from an Etsy shop that creates leather custom keychains. This unique yet practical gift is another little something your guy can always carry with him – so cute!! This Etsy shop lets you personalize both sides of the keychain and has several colors to choose from (I love a good variety). Their pricing starts off at only $15.99.
A girl can never have too many mugs, am I right?! I have a special place in my heart for cute monogrammed mugs – they just get me every time. Above are a few adorable options I found from stores we all know and love. Prices range from $2.48 – $14.99, obviously depending on store, size and design (the pictures are linked). I liked the Etsy cup because you can personalize the back! I definitely think I’m going to snag the Anthropologie Tiled Margot Monogram Mug (bottom left). It reminds me of a honeycomb and has a totally retro feel to it – love it! Anyways, a cute mug with her favorite tea, hot cocoa mix, coffee, or gift card would be the perfect touch to this cute gift.
For the girl who likes to travel or the girl who just wants jewelry options on the go, this cute travel jewelry box by LE PAPILLION is great, and you can find it on Amazon for $16.99! There are several different colors too, but you know me… I’m a strong believer in pink everything. Lol! I like that this has a mirror and that there are several different ways/ compartments to store your jewelry safely. It has a soft velvet interior to keep your items from scratches. It’s portable and a total space-saver with how thin it is. Two thumbs up for being cute and practical!
While on the topic of jewelry… I LOVE little trinket trays! I just think they are so cute and convenient. I don’t know about you, but I usually take my wedding rings off when I wash dishes, clean the house, style my hair… practically always. Lol! Because of that, I like to keep little sweet trays like these here and there so that I can place my rings or earrings down (I can’t handle talking on the phone with studs in my ears… I just can’t. Hah!) without worrying about misplacing them. Plus, I view these as little decor pieces too. 🙂 The pictures are linked and prices range from $9.90 – $20 depending on the option you choose (Etsy can become a bit more pricey because of the personalization, but I think that’s part of what makes these little gifts so special).
I know a lot of us like to watch TV while on our laptops doing work, homework, coloring, or jotting down ideas. Well, how cool is this?! It’s a Lap Desk by LapGear. You can find this on Amazon for $19.99, and it comes in a bunch of different colors. It has over 1,700 reviews and has 4 out of 5 stars! I like how convenient it is and that the bottom is comfortable with the dual, micro-bead filled cushions. Personally, I get tired of working on my laptop a lot sooner when it’s simply on my lap. Plus, my laptop gets hot and I feel like I’m overworking the poor thing. Lol! Some of the reviews complain that the top is a little slippery for the laptop, but others say they don’t have a problem, so I guess it would be one of those “buy it and see” kinds of products. It also has a little compartment that your cell phone can fit into or extra little supplies like pens, pencils, paper clips, etc.
Oh my goodness, come one! HOW CUTE IS THIS?! My hubby and I love love love to travel abroad and locally and we save all of our tickets – I’m not even kidding. We enjoy visiting botanical gardens, museums, exhibits, etc., so we have quite a collection of ticket stubs and visitor guides. Lol! This little keepsake diary is such an awesome way to save these memories/ keepsakes. This is only $12.60 on Amazon for the paperback version. 😀
This book is just the most precious thing, y’all! It’s an activity book that creatively gets you and your significant other talking, laughing, and reminiscing – it’s totally cute! You can never have too many fun ways to spend time with each other no matter how long you’ve been together. 🙂 You can snag one of these cute books on Amazon for just $11.90!
Side note: I made my husband the ‘Why I Love You’ Lovebook edition a couple years ago and I had such a fun time personalizing the little stick figures to look like us and having each page represent who we are and what we like doing together. He loved it too! Now you can even add color!! Back when I did it, there was only a B&W option. This is not under $25, but I’ll link it here in case you’re interested. 🙂 Personalized Gift Book
This recommendation is so special and it’s personal. My husband and I have the Thirty-One Prayers for my Wife/Husband books and let me tell you… these are amazing resources. Marriage is a beautiful representation of Christ and the Church. It’s not without its challenges, but that is why prayer is essential in marriage. In our marriage, we strive to love each other how the Lord loves us each and every day, faithfully and unconditionally. Praying for and over our marriage is incredibly important to us. These books help to guide our prayers over one another in very specific and intentional ways. We have found it to be so encouraging! We didn’t read Thirty-One Prayers for my future Wife/Husband, but I wish we had. It’s never too early or too late to begin praying for the man/woman the Lord has for you – praying for their character and spiritual growth and development (along with your own).
You can find bundles on Amazon. These books are all just under $13 each – a fantastic investment.
This last gift idea is one of my favorites! It’s a his and her vows digital print. I purchased these prints from this Etsy shop a few months ago and could not be more pleased. I submitted the exact wording of our vows and the gal at the shop sent over several digital copies that included multiple sizes. Personally, I used the 16×20 and then had them copied onto two canvases – it ran me about $50 total. However, to keep it more budget friendly, you can opt for the smaller 8×10 or 11×14 and purchase two nice frames that you can get really inexpensive at T.J.Maxx or Homegoods. These prints are on the higher end at $20 (I liked how neutral the background and floral design are), but there are so many other options for a similar concept on Etsy. I would check them out!
