TWO YEARS TODAY!!! Our “Florida-versary” 🥳 We left everything we knew and took a chance. We made the cross-country move from Illinois to Florida ✈️ Change can be scary, but we had prayed for nearly two years for the Lord to open a door for the opportunity to move. We trusted in His timing and in His plan and pushed out any fear or what-ifs. 👋🏼 We’ve come full-circle 👫🏻 Taking a chance was the best decision for us and we are loving this season of life! And thoroughly enjoying all the sunshine ☀️

It’s nearly impossible to find the right words to say during times like these. I’ve struggled trying to put my emotions into words. Nothing seems adequate or enough, but I know that I can’t stay silent either. My heart breaks for the injustice that we’ve witnessed this past week (for what has been cruelly and indefensibly happening for generations). It aches for those who have been marginalized and who are hurting at no fault of their own.

As a white Latina, I will never know the pain or truly understand how my family, friends, and fellow Americans of color feel or what you go through. However, I STAND WITH YOU.

As a child of God, I know with full certainty that we are all precious to Him and loved equally. This is not how things are supposed to be. We live in a broken and fallen world. I pray earnestly for healing and reconciliation. I pray for justice and for change. I pray for unity and peace. 🖤 #blackouttuesday

Mr. Remington went to the vet today for his last puppy booster shot; the vet said he’s looking strong and healthy and is a very happy pup (proud mama moment 💙) He’s growing so fast and is our little pride and joy! 🐶
